You were in a meeting recorded by EchoBrief

For participants in a call where an "EchoBrief Notetaker" joined. If you use EchoBrief yourself, see the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Who is recording

The notetaker was sent by one of the people in your meeting — its name and its chat message say whose it is. They decided to record the call and they control the recording. EchoBrief (operated by Oltaflock AI, India) processes it on their behalf.

What is recorded

  • The meeting's audio and video, and the names participants appear under.
  • A transcript, translated into English where needed, and notes made from it: a summary, decisions, action items and, for sales calls, deal notes and coaching for the person who recorded.
  • The recording, the transcript and the full notes can be seen only by the person who recorded, and anyone they choose to share them with.
  • If you were on the invite, you may get a short email afterwards with the topics, decisions, action items and next step from the part of the call you were in. It never includes the recording, the transcript or the recorder's private notes, and it has an unsubscribe link.

How to stop it

  • Type /stop in the meeting chat. The notetaker confirms in the chat and leaves; nothing after that point is recorded.
  • Or ask the host to remove the notetaker from the call. If it is not in the call, it is not recording.

What we never do

  • We do not use recordings or transcripts to train AI models.
  • We do not sell them or use them for advertising.

Getting it deleted, or seeing what was kept

Ask the person who recorded the meeting first — they can delete it at any time. If that doesn't work, email admin@oltaflock.ai with the meeting's date and the name you joined under, and we will help. How long recordings are kept is in the Privacy Policy.
